Skyroads has announced that Blueflite is appointed as an associated partner to its project setting up an automated AAM flight test area at Augsburg Airport, Germany.
The social media post says the US company is a logistics drone platform which was founded in 2018 and “is transforming the cargo drone logistics space with faster, safer, and more sustainable delivery solutions. Whether packages are large or small, the drone-based platform is built to scale in both size and quantity.”
Skyroads says “Blueflite is highly attractive to our automated flight test site in Augsburg, Germany, because the company offers patented, all-electric drone technology features for vertical take-off and landing, vectored thrust, enclosed cargo hold and advanced artificial intelligence (AI).”
Frank Noppel, CEO of Blueflite, and James McClearen, the CTO, stated, “We are very excited to be part of the Augsburg flight test area initiative and test Blueflite’s drone technology to advance the integration of drones into automated air traffic systems.”
