In a Linkedin post EHang has announced a partnership between EHang, KC Smart Mobility, and Cyberport to accelerate the development of urban air mobility and sustainable transport solutions in Hong Kong.
“This collaboration aims to introduce pilotless eVTOL aircraft (electric vertical take-off and landing) into the skies, transforming passenger and logistics transportation in the Greater Bay Area,” said EHang. Kwoon Chung Smart Mobility will contribute its expertise in smart logistics and public transport operations, ensuring seamless integration into Hong Kong’s infrastructure and Cyberport will provide facilities and digital infrastructure, having been appointed by the HKSAR Government as the venue partner for the low-altitude economy “regulatory sandbox” pilot project, supporting innovative technology testing and smart city development.
According to Bill Choi, EHang Vice President: “By promoting EHang’s EH216-S pilotless eVTOL, we aim to offer more efficient and eco-friendly air mobility solutions, drive the low-altitude economy in the Greater Bay Area, and support sustainable air mobility development globally.”
