The Jiangmen Low-Altitude Tourism Town project has announced an order for 100 Xpeng Aerhot eVTOLs.
According to the programme sponsors in a YouTube video:
“The low-altitude cultural and tourism town project includes low-altitude flight experience, flying car display, flying car maintenance, interactive simulation scenarios, educational tours, pilot training and will be equipped with leisure and entertainment facilities.”
Although the announcement does not specify the aircraft involved, the video makes reference to the Xpeng Aeroht eVTOL, although the company is also developing a flying car which is operated with a parent vehicle.
On December 1, 2023 Xpeng Aeroht announced a pre-order for 100 units of the modular flying car from South Lake Institute of Transportation.
