The Advanced Air Mobility Institute has announced that its Executive Vice President, Dr. Tracy L. Lamb, PhD, MBA, FRAeS, has accepted the position of Chief Safety & Quality Officer for Supernal in Irvine, California. Dr Lamb has a 28-year career in commercial aviation as an operator, innovator, and business developer, with extensive expertise in aviation safety auditing, compliance, human factors, safety system integration, and safety data analytics.
“I am honored to join Supernal to lead the company’s safety and quality management programs,” said Dr. Lamb. “Safety is a prerequisite for all sectors of aviation, but it’s especially critical to building and maintaining public acceptance of AAM so it can achieve its fullest potential across a variety of beneficial mission profiles.”
Her extensive background encompasses ISO 9001, 31000, 41000, ISO BAO, BARS, and ICAO standards, exemplifying her multifaceted expertise. Until joining Supernal, Dr. Lamb spent two weeks a month flying as an international cargo airline pilot, operating Boeing 767-300 and 757-200 freighters in a crucial partnership with Amazon Prime.
