Prague/CZ-based company Zuri has given an update on its work to develop a hybrid vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) 5-seater aircraft; the current presentation of the aircraft in augmented reality (AR) builds on the VR flight simulator (1+4), which the company presented at the AERO Show Friedrichshafen this April.
“Zuri participated in the Dubai Airshow alongside 11 other selected domestic companies from the aviation industry, thanks to support from the Czech Ministry of Industry and Trade” according to a press release. “The AR presentation was the only one of its kind at the Czech stand and as far as we know, the only AR presentation at the whole Dubai Airshow. In their on-site booth, Zuri highlighted the advantages of their concept, both for passenger and cargo usage.
“At the Dubai Airshow, Zuri actively engaged with industry experts and investors, seeking cooperation and support for the further development of a unique hybrid electric aircraft. Designed for five people, this aircraft boasts an impressive range of 700 kilometres in line with Zuri’s commitment to sustainable regional mobility.”
