Czech aerospace research agency VZLU Aerospace has flown a 1:4 scale model of its fully-autonomous Miya eVTOL platform, said Petr Raska, Head of the Unmanned Systems Department, VZLÚ, during today’s Dronecon conference in Prague.
The Miya platform is being designed to carry four passengers at 300 km/hr with a range of 300km, according to VZLU participants at the event, with both civil and military customers.
The 50kg flying model, built by AERO Vodochody, “has completed all tasks so far,” said Petr Raska, though it will take another five years before it is commercially available, he told delegates.
