Volocopter appoint two new Advisory Board Members

Volocopter today announced that it has expanded its Advisory Board with the addition of two new Board members. The company says these appointments come as it prepares to launch its services globally.

The following appointments to the Advisory Board have been announced:

  • “Dr. Victoria Coleman, Chief Scientist, United States Air Force.
    “She serves as the Chief Scientific Adviser to the Secretary of the Air Force, Air Force Chief of Staff, and Chief of Space Operations and is the Principal Science and Technology Representative of the Air Force to the civilian scientific and engineering community and to the public at large. Dr. Coleman has +35 years of experience in computer science and technology, including as both an academic leader and industry executive. She is joining our board in her personal capacity.
  • “Jason Thompson, Chief Financial Officer, Redwood Materials Inc.
    “Since joining Redwood, the company raised over USD4 billion in total capital to recycle and build domestic, sustainable battery materials. Prior to Redwood, he spent four years as VP of Financial Planning and Analysis and Treasurer for Valvoline and six years at Ashland, leading the process of separating Valvoline and Ashland into two independent companies and the subsequent IPO of Valvoline. Jason served in the U.S. Navy and worked at the National Security Agency as a language and intelligence analyst.”
