The prototype Vertical Aerospace VX4 eVTOL has been damaged during flight tests at its Cotswolds Airfield test centre, in the UK.
The exact state of the damage has yet to be confirmed but media reports say the incident happened on August 9 during an uncrewed flight test, in which a failure of the electromotors was simulated. No casualties have been reported.
Images posted on social media indicate part of the fixed wing appears to have been severed.
The company has given no further details of the event beyond an SEC filing report:
Urban Air Mobility News will give an update on the incident as soon as more information becomes available.
