LIFT Aircraft’s HEXA has successfully completed a flight demonstration at World Expo 2025 in Osaka, Kansai, Japan. The flight took place at the specially designed EXPO Vertiport within the Smart Mobility Expo area, highlighting Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) technology to a global audience. The successful demonstration flight resulted from LIFT’s collaboration with Marubeni and Marubeni Aerospace.
As part of the Future Society Showcase Project Exhibition, the companies hope that the demonstration serves as a catalyst for public acceptance and understanding of eVTOL technology.
LIFT will continue to conduct demonstration flights throughout the Expo event and is offering the opportunity for guests to experience piloting HEXA themselves through immersive, full-motion VR flight simulators.
LIFT plans to launch flight operations in Osaka this summer.
