India’s ePlane and Dubai’s Empire Aviation “partner to develop eVTOL services in Middle East and Asia”

Multiple unconfirmed press reports say India’s ePlane has partnered with Dubai-based business aircraft charter company Empire Aviation to accelerate the deployment of electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft in the United Arab Emirates and Southeast Asia.

According to the UAE Stories website: “ePlane and Empire Aviation will work closely with regulatory authorities in the UAE to ensure the seamless integration of eVTOLs into existing airspace and urban mobility networks. The partnership aims to establish vertiports—dedicated landing and take-off sites for eVTOLs—at strategic locations, including major business districts, luxury resorts, and key transportation hubs. By doing so, they will create a robust ecosystem that supports efficient and safe operations….Empire Aviation’s extensive presence in Southeast Asia provides ePlane with a strategic advantage in navigating regulatory landscapes, infrastructure development, and customer adoption. The collaboration will focus on establishing key partnerships with governments, aviation authorities, and private enterprises to facilitate the seamless introduction of eVTOL services in major cities.”
