In a Linkedin post Hamdy Sallam, of the Certification Directorate – VTOL Department, European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), reports that EASA has published the final stage of the Second Publication of Means of Compliance with the Special Condition VTOL (Document No. MOC-2 SC-VTOL Issue 3) (https://lnkd.in/eUbVgvXN).
“Compared with issue two, published end of June 2022, the following MOCs have been added, which appeared as “[RESERVED]” in issue 2:
- MOC VTOL.2115 Take-Off Performance
- MOC VTOL.2120 Climb requirements
- MOC VTOL.2130 Landing
“The rest of the MOCs are exactly as already published at issue two.
“The version of MOC VTOL.2105 “Performance Data” originally proposed with Document No. MOC-2 SC-VTOL Issue 1 has not been adopted. This is the reason why it still appears as “[RESERVED]” in this issue 3. EASA intends to revise extensively the content of this MOC VTOL.2105, which will be subject to a new public consultation.
“Along with this Final Publication of MOCs, EASA has also published the second issue of the Comment Response Document (CRD):
“This document incorporates the comments received on MOC VTOL.2105, MOC VTOL.2115, MOC VTOL.2120 and MOC VTOL.2130, which have also been individually replied by EASA.”
