The Bristow Group yesterday announced in a social media post that together with BETA Technologies it has made “a little aviation history at Houma Terrebonne Airport by introducing the first electric aircraft, BETA’s ALIA, an all-electric conventional takeoff and landing (eCTOL) aircraft, to Louisiana.”
According to the post “Over 100 attendees witnessed ALIA’s flight in Houma, showcasing what Chris Bradshaw, Bristow’s president and CEO, believes has great potential for quieter, more accessible, and more sustainable flight, and thus the future of aviation.”
