
BETA Technologies has just completed a 350 plus mile flight tour across the state of Utah with its, ALIA CTOL aircraft, visiting six sites, according to a Utah Department of Transportation YouTube video.
“We have rural communities throughout Utah this will open the door to those communities and will provide opportunities for those communities and urban communities to intermingle,” said Chris Metts, Executive Director, Project Alta 47G Advanced Air Mobility.
Beta and 47G Utah Aerospace & Defense (47G) recently signed an agreement to bring advanced air mobility (AAM) operations to Utah to with support from the Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) and the Governor’s Office of Economic Opportunity (GOEO).
BETA’s ALIA can transport up to five passengers or 1,250 pounds of cargo.
