AMSL Aero, an Australian startup has successfully completed the first test flight of Vertiia – its “long range, efficient electric Vertical Take Off and Landing aircraft.” The company says that it aims to serve the aeromedical, emergency services and passenger services sectors.
According to its LinkedIn account, the company which was founded in 2017 and is based in Sydney NSW, has raised USD23 million Series B investment via Crunchbase from 4 investors.
Vertiia the company says “will cruise at 300km per hour, travel 250km powered purely by electric batteries before needing a recharge and is designed to travel non-stop up to 1,000km using hydrogen.”
