The French regional electric-aircraft producer Auro Aero has reported provisional sales for 130 19-seat Electric Regional Aircraft (ERA). The newest letters of intent have been signed by Afrijet from Gabon (10 aircraft), Malta-based private aviation group Elitavia (20 aircraft), Brazilian logistics group Dux (20 aircraft), France’s Flying Green and Twinjet (10 and 25 aircraft, respectively), and FMS of Switzerland (10 aircraft). Three undisclosed operators have ordered 35 other units.
According to a Linkedin post from the company:
“During an “Airline Day”, organized on 22 September in Paris and bringing together worldwide airlines, our technical and commercial teams pursued discussions with operators about the development of ERA (Electric Regional Aircraft) and finalized the signature of over 130 intentions of order. This new announcement confirms the trust that airlines have in the program, which boast over 330 intentions of order to this day.”
