Roxtern Aerospace has announced on social media a “groundbreaking flying supercar powered by hydrogen fuel cells”. The post says the patent has been published, “marking a significant milestone for the aerospace industry.”
According to the post, specifications for the flying supercar are:
- Payload Capacity: 2 passengers
- Length: 10.5 meters
- Wingspan: 11 meters
- Height: 2.3 meters
- Maximum Takeoff Weight: 1450 kg
- Empty Weight: 1250 kg
- Endurance: 100 minutes
- Speed: 300 km/h
- Range: 500 km
- Propellers: 8 propellers are mounted for vertical takeoff and landing.
- Electric Jet Engine: 12 electric jet engines are used during horizontal flight, providing higher forward flight speed and efficiency.
