InterGlobe and Archer announce route and fare plans for Indian city services

The Times of India reports InterGlobe Enterprises, which owns IndiGo, and Archer have announced plans to launch flying taxi services between Delhi and Gurgaon, Bengaluru city and its international airport, and Bandra to Colaba in Mumbai.

According to the newspaper, quoting Archer’s CCO Nikhil Goel, the cost  per passenger of using a Midnight eVTOL services between Delhi and Gurgaon, some 28 km, would be Rs 2,000-3,000 (USD24 – 36), compared to Rs 1,500-2,000 for a Uber trip..

The first test flight could take place next year, depending on regulatory approvals.
