Sora Aviation, the UK-based developer of the 30-seat S-1 eVTOL aircraft, has secured a pre-order for 20 aircraft from Moviation, a leading Korean helicopter operator.
According to a Sora Aviation press release: “Sora and Moviation also signed a Memorandum of Understanding to jointly explore the deployment of the S-1 aircraft in South Korea, beginning with three key routes: Jamsil Heliport to Incheon Airport; Yeouido financial district to Incheon Airport; Jamsil Heliport to Sejong City, Korea’s planned administrative capital.
“Moviation currently operates Jamsil Heliport, a critical hub for air mobility in Seoul, making it an ideal launch point for future S-1 operations in Seoul.”

Moviation aims to integrate the S-1 into its existing helicopter operations, increasing passenger capacity while significantly reducing per-seat costs.
