Ratandeep Tripathi, Founder & CEO of Vjaitra Air Mobility, in a Linkedin post has announced the unveiling of its VTOL air taxi design.
“Our proprietary VTOL aircraft technology is now patents-protected, reinforcing our commitment to innovation and leadership in advanced air mobility,” he said in the post. “Safety is our priority! Featuring a full aircraft parachute system, our VTOL sets a new benchmark for passenger security—because your peace of mind matters.”
The company is developing two models: the VJ-220 eVTOL – with up to 220 km of zero-emission flight – and the V-600X Hybrid Variant – a 600 km range for long-haul urban and regional missions.

In the USA, the new models will enable efficient urban-to-suburban air commutes, reducing congestion in cities like New York, Los Angeles & Miami. In Europe, the aircraft will support intercity air travel between economic hubs like London-Paris, Berlin-Frankfurt, and Amsterdam-Brussels with zero-emission eVTOL solutions. In the Middle East they will introduce luxury air transport and emergency response in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Riyadh, boosting tourism and business travel. And in India they will solve airport connectivity challenges, reducing travel time in traffic-heavy cities like Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru.
