The Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Alliance has been launched during the November 11 “2024 Low-altitude Equipment Industry Innovation and Development Conference”, in Haizhu District, Guangzhou, reports a People’s Government of Guangzhou Municipality press release.
“The establishment of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Alliance is another important measure to improve the alliance’s organizational structure, enhance the platform’s service capabilities, and expand the industry’s cooperation circle,” said the report.
During the event two reference studies were published to provide a background to the technical requirements for developing a low altitude economy in the region. The “Reference Architecture of Low-altitude Intelligent Networking System (2024 Edition)” “focuses on the deep integration of the new generation of information and communication technology and aviation technology, and takes the reference architecture of the low-altitude intelligent network system widely recognized in the mainstream technology field as the core research content, aiming to comprehensively cover relevant technical directions, in order to promote the sustainable development and technological innovation of the low-altitude industry and low-altitude economy.”
The “New Energy and New Configuration Low-altitude Equipment Safety Technology System Report (2024 Edition)” “analyzes and demonstrates the safety technology system architecture around the full life cycle of low-altitude equipment. It conducts scientific and objective demonstration and summary from the dimensions of low-altitude equipment body safety, personnel safety, and environmental safety, aiming to provide technical support and development suggestions for the industry.”
