George Alafinov, Co-Founder and CEO of Jekta Aviation reports in a Linkedin post that JEKTA has signed an agreement with Solyu of Seoul, South Korea, for 30 of the PHA-ZE 100 zero-emissions aircraft.
“This is our first lessor agreement and we’re excited as we know how much lessors influence the aerospace community,” said the post. “The signing highlights the market and investment potential that can be delivered by a clean sheet zero-emissions amphibian aircraft. We anticipate that when it enters service the PHA-ZE 100 will expand regional air routes, provide multiple applications and support the growth of new market opportunities for not just operators but infrastructure providers, investors and suppliers of green propulsion technology.
“With this signing, we are delighted to confirm that advanced commitments for JEKTA’s amphibious aircraft now stand at more than USD1 billion in value. I’m aware that the amphibious aviation sector is often described as niche.
