Bluenest by Globalvia in a Linkedin post has reported on the progress it has made to integrate eVTOL operations at the ATLAS Flight Center at Villacarrillo (Jaen), Spain, where EHang 216 flight operations are taking place to test ground-air service coordination.
According to the post the following achievements have been made:
- First integration of third party meteorological systems to validate automatically meteo forecast and route against environment and aircraft parameters, including graphical green light for all way points.
- Measures of acoustic impact in dbs with sonometers at different distances from FATO.
- Use of the operational permit granted by AESA in ATLAS for the first flight with the eVTOL where routes were generated, checked, piloted and supervised.
- Validation of different approaches, take off and landing trajectories.
- Great collaboration with several stakeholders (eVTOL OEM, aerodrome staff, potential final user as future operator…).
“All tests in ground and air side ran smoothly and with very positive results,” was the conclusion.
