The Civic Air Transport Association (CIVATAglobal) is delighted to announced that it will be hosting the Urban Air Planning Forum – two unique one-day events for local government, port and airport managers from the UK, the European Union and other European countries – on May 10th and 11th, 2022 at the site of the world’s first city centre vertiport, in Coventry, UK.
“In partnership with Urban-Air Port Ltd, we are bringing together city and transport infrastructure planners from throughout the continent to see first-hand how the imminent urban and advanced air mobility transport revolution will impact their operations and planning” said Andrew Charlton Director General, CIVATAglobal. “The Urban Planning Forum will include site visits to the Urban-Air Port vertiport along with presentations and discussions on urban air mobility planning and community engagements from experts around the world.”
More details on the event and registration information can be found here: https://bit.ly/U-APForum2022.
There are a limited number of tickets available, so those interested are advised to book early
The Urban Air Planning Forum is a day-long event, giving participants unique access to industry, legal, regulatory and UAM infrastructure experts. CIVATAglobal is partnered in the event with Urban-Air Port®, Hyundai Motor Company and Coventry City Council, bringing to life, for the first time in the world, the detailed infrastructure requirements for urban electric flight.
“We are on the edge of a transport revolution, an era where safe, affordable and environmentally responsible aircraft will fly passengers and cargo through the urban sky,” said Andrew Charlton. “But this will only be possible if local authorities and communities work with aviation pioneers and regulators to balance the competing interests of aircraft operators, the travelling public and the communities where these operations will be hosted. We aim to build dialogue and understanding – a new transport system in which everyone will have a stake. Join us and be part of the future of transport.”
