Volatus Infrastructure & Energy Solutions and Spectrum Associates Inc., have formally agreed to collaborate on the development of the electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) infrastructure ecosystem, specifically focusing on vertiports in the New England region of the United States.
“This partnership, outlined in a memorandum of understanding (MOU), entails a two-phase endeavour” according to the press release. “The initial phase will see the establishment of seven vertiports spanning across Connecticut, Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Subsequently, the project will expand to encompass a total of 13 vertiports, covering the entirety of the New England area.
